We are appealing for FURNITURE, clothing and accessories, please!
Bags of clothing can be donated to any of our shops. Please scroll down for contact details for each shop.

If you have more than a couple of bags and boxes to donate, we kindly ask that you call your preferred shop (numbers below) just to check that they have space for your donations. We’d hate you to be disappointed if you turn up and they have to politely decline you.

We are also appealing for furniture for our charity shops! We invite supporters to get in touch if you have larger items of furniture you’d like to donate to our charity, We offer a FREE furniture collection service for the following items:

  • Sofas
  • Lounge furniture
  • Dining tables & Chairs
  • Other large items

* fire safety labels must still be attached to any upholstery items

Please call 0151 334 2558 (Mon to Sat 9-4.30pm) or email van@wirralhospice.org with your name, address, daytime contact number, a list of the furniture, and photos of the items.

This helps us to assess how many people we need to collect certain items, and also to ensure that the items you’d like to donate are something we can sell via our charity shops. Please be kindly advised, that there are times when we occasionally need to politely refuse items if we know they won’t sell or if it would cost our charity money to dispose of them.

Clothing, accessories, bric-a-brac:
Each of our shops is able to accept stock donations through its doors, unless they are too full in the back sorting area. In which case you may be politely turned away. Our shops are reliant on volunteers supporting us so sometimes sorting donations can take much longer where we have volunteer gaps so your kind understanding will be hugely appreciated!

We kindly request that you donate items in carrier bags, small bin bags or small boxes that can be carried easily by our volunteers.

If you have more than a couple of bags and boxes to donate, we kindly ask that you call your preferred shop (numbers below) just to check that they have space for your donations. We’d hate you to be disappointed if you turn up and they have to politely decline you.

You may not be aware of this but we are also able to take old clothing items that may not suitable for selling as they can be recycled and raise funds for us that way. Please keep them in a separate bag and mark as ‘rag recycling’. Please note that that does not include duvets and pillows; we are not able to accept those as they can’t be recycled.

Appeal for volunteers!
Please could you donate a few hours of your time to support your local hospice?

We are looking for volunteers for our charity shops based in Bebington, Birkenhead, Bromborough, Claughton, Heswall, Liscard, Moreton, New Brighton and West Kirby.

Make a real difference!
Have fun & make new friends!
Learn new skills or use existing ones!
